KAPCO to install new Elite Cameron simplex turret slitter/rewinder at OH plant

Elite Cameron, Inc., will be supplying its latest generation, turreted slitter/rewinder to Kent Adhesive Products Co. KAPCO, located in Kent, OH, is a converter, manufacturer and coater serving a wide variety of industries. The company purchased the new Elite Cameron TW350-A turreted slitter/rewinder in early Q3 2021.

“The new slitter will result in a significant increase in our slitting efficiency," the company says. “It will take KAPCO's slitting capabilities to the highest level and allow us to explore new opportunities.”

The Elite Cameron TW350-A is designed with two turreting rewind shafts, shear slitting, automatic cut-off and tail re-attachment and an unwind staging table for efficient roll changeover. The machine can run up to 500 fpm and handle a web width as wide as 66 in.
