Our state-of-the-art highly instrumented pilot coaters are perfect for product development, scale-up and even small volume full manufacturing scale products.

Capabilities: Carestream Contract Manufacturing's coating assets utilize a wide range of coating technologies and applications including slide, gravure, curtain, roll and slot die coating in a clean room environment. With a total of 35 different methods, some of which are proprietary, Carestream solves a number of solution problems. Solvent and water-based coatings can be applied on paper, film, cloth, foil and other flexible substrates from 5" to 74" wide with optional CDT (corona discharge treatment), UV (ultraviolet) curing, and lamination. Carestream also offers in-house formulation development, pilot facilities, optical and photographic and display quality PET film manufacturing, solution preparation, analytical lab capabilities and complete converting and packaging services.
