2023 Green Bay Converting School | April 12th

Back again this year is our Spring Roll-to-Roll Converting School courses in Green Bay, Wisconsin! This has been conveniently scheduled for Wednesday, April 12th, to align with the one-day expo on the 13th for those who plan on being in town already for another event. We encourage you to make the most of your travel plans by signing up for one, or multiple, of these educational training classes. Registration includes an official certificate of completion, networking opportunities, and an optional facility tour. Converting Process Development Approaches

This course will present the principles of web handling with case studies to highlight their importance.

Web handling involves the physical mechanics related to the running and control of continuous webs through manufacturing and converting processes. A primary goal of web handling is to transprt the material without incurring defects and losses.

Web handling is a science which involves many topics: material properties, longitudinal dynamics, rollers, traction, wrinkles, spreading, lateral dynamics, guiding, winding, slitting, unwinds, accumulators, and laminating.
